I'm in the process of installing reproduction floor pans into a 1957 Willys Pickup Truck. The driver's side reproduction floor pan came with a pattern/drawing around the pedal area and I'm not sure what to do with it because the original floor pan was non existent. I don't know if that area gradually stepped up before it went up the toe board. I've been searching around the site for close ups of the pedal area and haven't found any close enough. Do I cut anything out of this floor pan or is it just a pattern for making the pedal area above it? If you can point me to or share any pictures of this area in a similar year truck that would be great.

I have toe board and floor to install also. The PO patches still there but the basic curve still there.
Here’s photos of ‘61 drivers site. Curve at base of accelerator pedal still kinda there. May be of some help to you.

One of the things Willys engineering never thought about for future utility wagon & truck owners, was the jute backing under the attached wall to wall floor mats holding moisture and rusting away.
