If you click the Img button, right above the box where you type your post, it will drop in the tags. The cursor will be right between the beginning and ending tags, and you can paste your image URL there. When you hit preview, if the image shows up, you got it right.
The image will show like this in the post:
[img]http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n491/jgermain/9fcab768.png
Looks like the image size works fine.
