That is stunning! Ten Thumbs up! We need more pictures and the story. Thanks all. She is running great, lots of thumbs up as I go bye. Had her up to 58mph in overdrive, it handled well but I prefer 45 to 50mph.. Starter pedal sticking a bit and I have to tap it to get it to disengage and stop the rattling. Any thoughts, maybe the internal spring In the starter is sending me a message.
She was in fair shape mechanically when I found him. Had to dump all fluids flush engine. Trans. Differential. New radiator rebuild carb. Clean and painted engine and bay. Added new overdrive and redid many wires. Painted exterior and interior.Graham,
Very impressive and beyond cool!
Did you do a total rebuild? How long was the process?
Lastly are your bumpers painted or powder coated?
Definitely calendar and multi car show winner. Thanks for the pics.
You should have an external return spring between the starter engagement arm and the shaft or bell housing. I used the cotter pin hole on the starter side, looped around the actuator lever on the bell housing. Thanks all. She is running great, lots of thumbs up as I go bye.
