I just picked up a 52 wagon body and frame. They both are in good shape. I plan on going with a chevy 350 and a lot of upgrades.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your new project. We love to see pics if you've got em.

Hello Will. Welcome to this Forum. There's a lot of good folks on here that are certified Willys Fanatics that are here to help you and to answer your questions. I am currently working on a 57 Willys Pickup/Chevy Chassis Conversion Project. Check out my Build Log at: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3805815/1 ... lys-pickup
I haven't figured out how to include pictures in my posts on here is why I haven't added my build on this forum yet.
Good luck with your project.

Welcome to the forums. Put up some pics when you get time. There are some V-8 guys here who can probably help you with some tips and tricks when you get that far.

Glad to have ya here on the forum...I can remember my first Willys Wagon, what a great feeling. I sold her and after ten years I missed her and now rebuilding a '62 Wagon....Good luck on your project....keep all Willys out of the bone yard.....SAVE A WILLYS WAGON or PICK-UP!

Welcome aboard Will.... Pull up a chair and grab a cold one  This is a great place to learn from other like minded people. Nothing like a old willys sitting in the garage to play with.

So you're not using the stock frame? Curious how you came to pick the mitsu frame. What axles?

oh ya, welcome to the site

I am using the mitsu frame because it was free, is the right length, axle arches are in the right spots and is fully boxed factory. I am going to be running gm 1ton gear that I am pulling from my 77 k5. I am also using the rest of the drive train as well. I might use leafs up front but I am thinking about coilovers.
