That looks really great! Hopefully I can get mine looking that good.

That looks great! I like the details such as the head script, air & oil filter decals, heat riser, bell housing vent screens, etc.

. So, after cutting out my old pedal shaft, welding in a new one, and replacing the pedal bushings. My pedals still had moderate lateral movement. So I took a modified 1/2 inch carriage bolt, made a spacer bushing and tightened it up. Hallelujah! No lateral motion at all and no increases in perceived pedal tightness. Could have saved time and money by doing this first. I probably wouldn't have even needed a new shaft or bushings[emoji31]. I'm sure somebody on this forum has already done this. I just couldn't find it. Does anybody suspect any future problems from this mod?

It was a good morning! I attached my new overdrive unit , front and rear drive shafts, found and fixed the leak in my steering box and finished my E brake setup. Now just gonna wait on my PTO adapter for the back of the overdrive. I need a nap[emoji3]

I've been following you work and am impressed with you attention to detail.

Perhaps you are already aware of this...

With a wagon the PTO levers come through the floor just in front of the front edge of the seat but only if the PTO is installed directly to the transfer case.

Installing the OD and PTO adapter move the PTO about 10" rearward. On my wagon that meant the PTO levers would come up through the tool box and the seat.

To move the PTO levers back to their original location, I built the linkage shown in the photo.

Outstanding job by both of you! Why two levers for the PTO? One for forward and one for reverse? Thanks, Mike.

Your PTO shift linkage is a work of art! I was going to decide after installation on whether to do a modified under seat version or linkage. After seeing yours I believe linkage is the way to go. You've answered quite a few of the questions I had on how to run the linkage. Mine will be a bit easier, it's a single stick front shaft PTO. It will be pretty much archaic compared to yours! Don't laugh when you see the end result. It will work, but it won't win any beauty awards! Thanks for the ideas. John

Weather here in Kansas City was pretty crappy, so I took upon the task of tearing apart the Ramsey winch. Was totally filled with I assume was the original grease. More dirt than grease. It was in pretty good shape. Pretty simple technology. Instead of painting the case I decided to polish it. I'm pleased with the look. Took me almost 8 hours to do[emoji31]. My wife thinks I'm nuts

That winch looks nice - now you have to polish the PTO, PTO adapter & OD!
