19,,,, and I feel it ,,,,, :( :) Also remember hand dug well & carrying water to the house in buckets for mom, baths in a #3 washtub,
outhouse with spiders and wasps, you'd light a piece of paper and wave it around below the seat to chase em out, cleaning out
ashes in the heating and cook stove and carrying in wood for both, so much more.

The good ole days ? ;)

Harold Reid, bass singer and jokester in the Statler Brothers group, died this week at 80 years old. Great group, very entertaining.

15 and I remember more than most at my age(58) because I was usually the youngest cousin in family gatherings.

My all time favorite group, sad to see the older artists leaving us.

I remember them all, our phone number was Juniper 8- 7270. If you cut the strings off a cork shotgun you had a "magnum" until your brother hid the corks.

How's this for old, my Dad used to hand me a one gallon gas can and a 50 cent piece and say " Go down to Tony's Garage and get a gallon of gas for the lawn mower and a candy bar for yourself and one for your brother, and don't forget to bring me my dime back."

Ahhh -the day's of 30 cent gas and nickle candy bars, heck, you hardly ever see a 50 cent piece anymore.

I loved the Statler Brothers. Cassette tape and 8 track? I probably had them on 4 track.

Dang Ron, one more clean shirt ought to do you ,,,,, just kidding ! ;) :)
There are days I feel like it. Being locked up with the wife due to this virus thing I’m betting one of us will be up on charges if this goes on for another month. And just when I was thinking the first 51 years was the hard part.

25 correct and I had 4 track before I bought an 8 track. I also had a Lear Jet ( yup the airplane people) 8 track.
