Rear fender

Hello is there a fender welt or something like that that could be used to go between the rear fenders and body on a 49 willys truck

I don't know what was done from the factory but I decided to use plastic washers (slightly less than 1/16 inch ) as spacers to keep the gap open. I really don't want to give moisture or water a place to stand and start to rust the fender or bed. I placed one on each bolt. Time will tell.
