Looking for the original style washer used in the wood slats. I’m putting back sink plated screws not stainless. If some one has a source. It’s a 1/4 in flush washer with an edge. I have searched the internet to no avail. If some one is replacing them with stainless I would love to get the original ones and I’ll replate them.

If I remember correctly, they are a type of "cup washer". Take a look here, perhaps you will see what you want. Years ago, I made my own conical washers by deforming regular ones - you might be able to do the same...

Have your machinist buddy make a punch and die for you and convert standard washers...Phil

I have in the past taken out those washers for people. It's a pain and I don't know how many I still have. How many do you need? Sadly I know a guy who had a box of them but his contact numbers have been changed. He closed out a Jeep dealership.

You are never going to get them "right" that way. The OP obviously wants them correct.

Just used a piece of pipe in the shop and a vise to countersink the a hammer to flatten and worked great. If you are planning to do this use a bigger vise. A small one won’t do. I broke my small one. The blacksmith leg vise has way more torque. Now I just have to do 64 of them. Extra for the delivery door.

Just think what a machinist with a lathe and a shop press could do...HI Hi ...Phil

There you go! You probably saved $20 in gas by not driving around to 5 places looking at their inventory (and not finding what you wanted).

don't shoot me but i emailed harry sheets and he sent me a bag of them to replace what I was missing for $7. that's been maybe 10 years ago. mine are more cupped.
