Trying to find out if anyone knows what this Willys engine was for. Found it in my garage and would like to to go to a good home if possible. I figure someone may be looking for one.

So then is it a junkyard piece or do you think anyone would want it?
 
I bought a basket case mule. Did not come with a engine. Thats the engine I need. Let me know.

I have a similar engine. Its data plate gives model number, serial number and cu inch. Mine is a 4 cylinder, 32 cu. inch, aluminum engine used in a military generator. I bought it because I thought it would make a good ultralight plane engine. weighs about 55lb. I think they have 4 cylinder around 56 cu. inch again generator engine. I kind of looks a hair different than mine. so maybe it is the 56 inch-ish engine.

PS. Mine is a Continental engine which is actually a small copy of aircraft engines but used in military generators.
