U shackles and toe in adjustment

I was planning on installing new tie rod ends and new U shackles next week which will of course require me to check and adjust the toe-in. I bought new tie rod ends and U shackle but I've misplaced the new U shackles. If I just go ahead and replace the tie rod ends and adjust the toe-in with now, will I have to check and adjust the toe-in again when I do the U shackles?

No you wont as the shackles don't affect toe in. Only caster if they are a different length.

Thanks, I thought so but needed reassurance. I'll be replacing both with new ones from Walcks if I can't find the ones I already bought.
