The builder of this rig, Larry's Dad Harry Shank, was a Lockheed engineer. His creativity and handiwork is absolutely amazing.

That's so cool. Very impressive engineering.

Dad has one of those fold out table/benches and I think he has one canvas covered canteen too.
 
Wow!!!! Nostalgia to the extreme! I kept looking for Sandra Dee! Aw well!
 
You know, I almost didn't take the time to watch the video. What a loss that would have been. The history, the ingenuity, the step back into a wonderful time. And when he showed the home vids on the side of the teardrop, that was something special. Makes me want to go out and find an old teardrop camper.
