We have made leaps and bound restoring our project (my 15 year old Grandsons doing the work) 1965 FJ6 BUT, we have had a struggle getting info on certain things. Right now we are at the Tranny, an 'Automatic' Borg-Warner and the numbers off the plate- one is W.G. DIV. AS22-8F and the other number stamped into the plate is 1042 with a 7 under that number. The plate is pretty clean but around the last number the paint stating what they are is rubbed off. We are having issues completely understanding the Neutral switch mounted on the steering column and the switch-solenoid mounted on the tranny and what to check as we rewire it. All old wire is missing. Could really use other info on this sweet van but right now any help with the tranny would be sincerely. ThanksTRANNY ID.JPG appreciated.
