Willys Year:
I don't know if I missed an old post about it, but could not find anything with the search engine.

I would like to keep my 64 pickup close to the stock look. I need to find some tires for the rig. I have a good source for military tire but would like to know if there's other options for mud tire this narrow?.. I would like anything between 30-32" mud tires on stock rim but more road friendly.

What are you guy runnning on your Willys?

cheers

I run street tires on mine but it is a dd I have a cj2a as a off road machine go to discounttire.com and check out all of your choices the right size to run is 215/85/r16 that is the closest to stock without rubbing you can run 235/85/r16 with a little rub on hard truns good luck my pickup is the same year as yours.

No. Bought them from local Goodyear store. Have never purchased tires online. Little worried about getting rotations and road hazard service if not purchased and installed locally.

10/4 on online tires thats why I always use discount not far from the house and they have been around for a long time that and they will usually match prices on other stores and least they always have for me but then again I have been using them for over 30 years and I have a lot of trucks and whatnot :D

Can anyone recommend a 215 80R 16 that is not noisy?Quiet running is more important to me than off road traction.

I have been looking at the goodyear silent armor. Does any one have any experience with thse on the stock rims

if you go to discount tires website even if you dont buy from them and search for whatever tire you want to run there is some reviews from people who have ran them before and this might help you guys out thats what I usually do before I buy any tires good luck :D
