Hey all. Just purchased a 1955 Willys Wagon from an old neighbor who wanted to let it go. I’ve never thought about owning one until I saw the quality and my family said “beach car!” Anyway, it’s an all original 11K mile car that was restored in the early 80s and has been in the barn for 35 years. It’s got some issues I’ll still need to work through though but I look forward to sharing info. Thanks all.

Looking tight BUT pretty nice to turn in to a beachmobile!
Thanks. New Tires this week and then roof rack next. Electrical issues though. Lights are cutting out for a few seconds while on, like a slow power surge. Gotta figure that one out first before Driving at night.

Nice ride! The Jeepster I’m currently working will be going to the Florida Panhandle also.

Headlight relay??

There is a circuit breaker on the end of some headlight switches. Not sure which one you have. It's the small rectangle in this pic with the orange and red/blk wires attached.

Power comes in where I have an orange wire (your colors will be different) and there is a shunt from the lower terminal into the headlight switch. Of course, if the breaker is tripping, all of your lights would be going out

Wow, she shined up really well--must have been a nice barn! And that pin striping! I'm freshening up a 20-30 year old restoration on a 1959 wagon--more fun than I ever imagined. Congratulations and welcome to the obsession.
