I have a '56 wagon 6-226 mostly stock, still a lot of rust to repair. I bought all new leaf springs and did a spring-over, installed all new (stock) braking components (which seemed to be a waste of money). Engine runs smooth as glass. I'm thinking of repowering, as the brakes are scary and I wouldn't mind having an automatic trans. I have a '77 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 power/drive train that I could use.

I'll submit a pic when I can figure out how.

Pictures came up fine and looks like a nice platform to start from. The front looks a little scary that high though.
