Thanks for the add.

I recently inherited this 1964 Willys Wagon from my Uncle who passed away in March.

I have great memories in this Wagon going back 40 years. We used to take it out to his mining claim on a river in remote Arizona. Trips fishing and to the snow up in Flagstaff as well. I’ve always loved this Wagon, and often dreamed of getting it cleaned up and back on the road. This Wagon took part in the Cinder Rally’s in Flagstaff in the early 1970’s and at one point in time was used by the US Forest Service.

He had replaced the original flathead engine years ago with a small block Chevy 350 V8 but that engine too had seen its day and was pulled out. So right now there is no engine, the body is in fair shape with a few small rust spots, and it pretty much needs full CPR to bring it back to life. I’m decent with tools and technical stuff, but not a do it all, know it all car guy so I’m trying to figure out the best route to fix this bad boy up. I look forward to your comments, and to being apart of this forum as the project progresses.

Here are some pics.

Dude that is awesome information!!!

I’m a complete Info geek when it comes to that stuff. I back tracked the Color & Trim info off the tag in the engine bay as well.

Paint 999 Trim 203
Fountain Green & Plantation White.

I made a mistake and read the wrong column (see above). It looks like yours was built in Janaury 1964. Sorry about that.
