Howdy y'all. My name is Mark and I'm from central Texas. I picked up my 59 when I was in Del Rio for next to nothing, but she needs a whole lot of TLC. The previous owner used it on his ranch and some body work is necessary. Only four areas of rust rot and I'll have to get a new tail gate. Nearly every window cracked, but saved patterns to replace with the newer safety glass. Converted the single cavity brake system to a dual with disk breaks in front. Still rolling around with all four to be disk breaks. Have a Dana 44 I rebuilt ready to install.

I have spent many hours while recouperating from back surgery converting the National Stock Numbers in the parts book to current parts from AutoZone, O'reillys, Advance Auto and NAPA that are a heck of lot cheaper than some Willys web sales sites and is the exact same product! If any one else has conversion part numbers I'll add them to the spread sheet I have created. Please put in the subject the word Willys as I get spamed and may delete your inquiry if Willys isn't in the subject.

I look foreward to contributing and sharing knowledge.

Welcome to the forum Mark.

If you would like to put your spreadsheet up on the forum, I'd be happy to do so to make it available for the forum members. If so, email it to me and I'll create a link to the file so it can be downloaded with a click.

Welcome! That spreadsheet sounds like it would be very useful. Unfortunatley I don't have anything to add (yet) but if I run across anything I'll be sure to send it in...

Well I'm going for a cream and mahogony color two tone, the wood inside is shot, but redoal slats real cheap at Lowe's. replacing inside wood panels with mahogony solid paneling. If I do it right I'll only have to use one 8x4 sheet :thumbupleft:
