It really helps to have a signature line that states your year and model vehicle. If you post a question, and forget to include that crucial info, you might not get an answer. It is nice to even post what state you are in, let me give you an example why. You are looking for a part. If you are nearby, I might offer the part for free. But shipping it clear across the country is too expensive, so I don't bother offering.
First names are good also. You get to know people, and it promotes a closer, friendlier community.
Just my .02.

I'll second that. Year and model are also a mandatory part of new registrations and required for existing members who update their profiles. This info now shows in user profiles.

testing one, two,...

I'm a computer primitive - went into user profile and tried to click on vehicle year, model, - no way to specify what 'other' might be...

but then I found signature box, so here we go. I failed at avatar too - says my pics are too big.

The picture are too big file size speaking. The board will auto resize it size wise. You need to compress them a bit first.
