Loves Gas Stations

Has anyone had trouble with getting water in the gas at Loves stations or any other vendors. Happened with my cousin not long ago at Loves in Belen NM, $1900.00 repair. My daughter just
called from Vaughn NM, she filled up in Santa Rosa NM at Loves. Made it about 35 miles. She had her vehicle checked out before leaving
MO, ran great till she filled up at Loves in Santa Rosa. The symptoms sounded like water in the gas. She had it looked at in Vaughn, they said it was
probably bad gas.
I hate this dang government gas !

No, but I had the pleasure of pulling the tank on the wife’s S10 a couple weeks ago when she used a 5 gallon can that had been sitting in the rain over the winter. I took about a quart and half of water out and had to change the fuel pump. Not fun at all.

In 45+ years of driving, I’ve never gotten bad gas from a filling station, despite filling up in some pretty sketchy places. It does happen, but it’s exceedingly rare.
