Nearly finished complete rewire from scratch and no smoke got out yet.
Instrument cluster is last thing - when I dismantled everything years ago didn't note what was what like I did with everything else..
Have it figured mostly but I have one bulb holder that has two wires connected - earth & live feed.
What is this bulb for - all others have a single wire and are obviously earthed from the body of the cluster.
Does it supply the earth for all bulbs?
It a 59 with the large round speedo cluster..
Have googled but can't find a definitive answer
