Good morning everyone, Greaser007 ( Len ) reporting in for Rodney - 6:30 am Pacific Time:
Rodney texted me Friday PM to let me know how his surgery went, _ _ _ and to pass the news on to the group.

Below is his report
Surgery went well. Physical therapy released him to go home Saturday (today).
Neurosurgeon says he might keep him until Sunday a.m.. _ _ good call for observation.
The removal of the Tumor was successful, which was benign Meninegioma.
A four level Fusion with titanium rods, plates and screws.
Rodney

I think Rodney had many of us pulling and or praying for a fruitful ending to the procedure.
The volume of tech work on vehicles that Rodney performs and his knowledge is simply amazing and encouraging. :)

I'll bet Rodney _ _ the Rocket, is hungry and ready for a hearty breakfast this morning. _ _ on the other hand, _ _ it's Hospital Food.

Sunday, 10:00am - Len reporting in once again and lastly probably.
I just heard from the Rocket-man and his "Discharge" papers are being worked-on. _ _ yeay, great news.
His incision looks nice and straight, for whatever thats worth.

He'll be out fussing with metal of some sorts soon, burning up grinding wheels and bottle gas, we hope. :)

Tonight is my last night at home. Tomorrow, we drive 2 hours to Travis Air Force Base "David Grant Surgery Center" and check into the Fisher Hospitality House. It's a free hotel/hostel on the base right across the street from the Neurosurgery Center. They will call me tomorrow evening with a time to show up, between 6:00 and 8:00AM Wednesday morning. The operation will take 6-8 hours without complication. Then I will stay in the Hospital the rest of the week and my wife can stay nights at the Fisher House. I hate not being in control, But I know who is and it's not the surgeons. And I hope HE will guide the Doctors hands.

As for the trip down, we bought a new 2026 Mazda CX30 AWD Sub Compact SUV. We've got about 1300 miles on it so far and my wife loves it. I've heard people complain about how small they are, but I'm 6'1" and sit in it fine, even with a cowboy hat and my long legs. Plus, it's been getting 30MPG up and down the mountain, so I expect closer to 35 going to Fairfield and Travis

This will probably be my last post for a while. SO "Keep Moving Forward"
