Color is a ways off, so just primer for now...

I put some 2K primer on today and bolted it together for a few photos:

Oh that shine you see is called the sun, for those who have not seen it in a while.

Wow Jim

Now that is what I would say is awesome looking fenders. Nothing makes my heart go pitter patter like a old Willys grill and fenders...The sun thing....We do get sun in this neck of the woods (upstate NY) but it is a very rare site indeed. Maybe once a week if we are lucky...40" of snow last month here...been winter here since November.
That shot is awesome. thanks for sharing

Wow, that is awesome. Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures of your work. As far as the underside of the fenders, do you undercoat or is just primer/paint as well?

Not sure yet but am leaning to a undercoating.

Hi Jim. Your fenders look great! I used this spray undercoating on mine. It's made by Rustolium. My fenders are "done" for now. I've got a pic similar of mine sitting on the dolly.

We are well into the wiring phase now. It's great to be hooking stuff up! I need a new gas pedal assembly. The Chevy donor won't work. What are you using?

Is this what you are using? http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=378

My gas pedal was done but I take some photos of what the guy did.

Speaking of wires, I notice a lot of cut ones in the photo.

Jim: Yes! That's the undercoating that I used. It went on easily. I did two coats. Thanks also for your gas pedal pictures. I am missing the brackets for my Chevy pedal. Looking at yours, I may know now what I'm looking for.

It is nice having someone working in about the same space and time on this project. It is very helpful.

Glad the photos helped. You have been a great help to me :D
