Thanks for the earlier help on removing interior door and window cranks. I took them off today in anticipation of new window fuzzies coming next week. I also need to replace the door flat glass and the whole vent window assembly. I have good used parts to put in and would appreciate any guidance folks have so I don't make too much more work than necessary.

Thanks,

Dan

My neighbor had a spare door and he is letting me have my way with it (so to speak)

Door glass is just flat glass. Local glass shop should be able to make you one for about $20.00. It is easier if you have an old one for a pattern.

I have found it is easiest for me to roll the window down until there is about two inches sticking up. Remove the wing window first, then remove the front guide track between the wing window and door glass. Grab the glass and work it gently forward and back until it comes out of the roller clamp. Then you can ease it out the top of the door opening to the inside. Remove the three screws for the outer guide track and whatever fasteners were last installer used on the rest of the track. Reinstall in reverse order. Your mileage may vary. :D
