Hi all,

I am so glad to found a lot a willys owners.
Here in Brazil the rural wagon ( and all the willys jeeps) is a legend in the country. But each day is more difficult to find good parts.
I found this forum wile I was triyng to find a good contact point., or a electronic ignition system.
My english is not so good.....

But I'm happy to be here......and Slowly, I'll explore the site!
Thanks for receiving me so well!

Welcome Andre
I have a friend with the same last name as you. In Massachusetts.

Yeah....maybe......but I rely more on supplies from the American industry, for example, here we can find no more reliable gears for the reform of the gearbox. We have to get them in the junkyard. I think you got more options......but I'm here to help!

Now I got a little problem with the contact point........and I'm thinking about change it to a eletronic ignition.....The points there is to sale here in Brazil is of fragile structure.......than I was loking for one in the USA and foud this forum.

At the end of the day I found a point of NGK that I hope will fit better........

Thank you!

Welcome from Colorado, André. Post some pictures of your wagon when you get a chance. Pivnic

I love the grill, Andre. My only experience with Willys in other countries was a trip to Cuba in February. Lots and lots of wagons over there but they all had the typical grills we see here in the states. Probably because they were shipped to Cuba from the US (before trade restrictions).

Hi Bob,
Those vertical grills was present only in the early times, here we call it "cachorro louco" something like "crazy dog", and the people loves it!

Welcome aboard! Which engine is in your wagon? Look forward to more pictures and reports from Brazil. Perhaps you can get some of your Willys friends there to join the forum as well.

Hi Carter, my engine is a BF-161. Actually it's the third engine that equips my car. Two of then are there only to take parts.
I'll try to get another Willys owners to the forum, but we are species in extintion! But, is not dead who fights!!!!
