Hello from Ft. Worth TX with a '59 Willys CJ3B

I inherited a 59 Willys CJ3B from my dad. We have owned it from the late 60's and I put many a mile on it driving around the ranch. It was running about 5-6 years ago so need to revive the old girl. It's rusty, beat up, no brakes, the wiring is extremely suspect, etc. but priceless to me. Going to be a winter project to get running by next spring.

The seats are basically trash. Can anyone recommend what years can be used as replacements? Any salvage yard around DFW area that might have something that would fit?

Think you might have a CJ5 there! Don’t see the passenger seat but the frame on the drivers side looks like it can be saved, just need cushions and covers maybe. There are a few sources for after market seats if you’re not concerned with original. Smitty, Bestop

Thanks guys. I''ve always been told CJ3 but will measure the wheelbase etc to identify for sure.

The hood and grill on a 3B sort of jumps out at you, hard to mistake for anything else.

Thanks Blue Duck. After looking at the pic I definitely have a cj5. That will be a big help in chasing down the right parts. So glad to have found this forum.
