What are your guys thoughts a gravity feed or siphon. I looking to paint my willys wagon and would like to give a try. I would need to buy the gravity feed but could borrow my dads siphon gun. I know that gravity is what more popular but is it easier to use or any benfits to it. I talked to the paint supplier today i am going to be using a two stage nelson paint. Whats your guys thoughts. Thanks

This is what I bought and am really liking it:

DeVILBISS HVLP FinishLine® 3 VALUE SPRAY GUN KIT
with 3 Tips, Starter DeKUPS Kit (24 oz.), Air Valve Regulator w-Gauge
http://www.tcpglobal.com/spraygundepot/devmstrkit.aspx

The guns are so much better now than in the past and I like the decupps disposable cups. Squirt a little thinner through the gun and it is clean. Much less over spay as well.

I like my Sears siphon gun. I've used it for over 40 years now and then. I also bought a Harbor Freight siphon touch up gun. The HB gun is very cheap but it works great for small parts. My son bought me a gravity gun HVLP type ,I used it once. The hvlp apparently takes a different technique ,I had the paint way to thick with it. Personaly I woud use the siphon gun. A high priced gun does not guarantee a good paint job. Practice does.

You just need to put the part of the URL after the "=" sign, rOoo2eXw5m4 into the youtube bbcode, like this:

[youtube:237pc8ph]rOoo2eXw5m4[/youtube:237pc8ph]
