Well Oiled
Spent a little time on the lathe today and made uo an adjustable push rod. Threaded aluminum tube with hard insert and fine thread bolt and jam nut.
Clutch slave cylinder mounting.

Hardened Insert!!. In the only wear spot there is. Master cylinders & slave cylinders are often made out of aluminum, along with their pistons.
If you put it in a vise, you might bend it with a bar. But a linier push like it's used for, would take a 12 ton press to hurt it.
