Hey guys, I'm new here. I just bought a 1953 CJ-3a (low hood). The PO put a homemade vent on the hood and swapped in the I6, F-head, Hurricane motor (not a flathead). Someone stole the carburetor off of it before I bought it, so I have no idea what was on there before. Needless to say, I am looking for a carburetor that will fit this motor. I can easily find carburetors for the 4-cylinder hurricanes, but I'm not having any luck finding one for a six cylinder. Any help would be appreciated. Information, parts for sale, part numbers, conversion ideas, etc. Really, anything helps. Thanks!

Here is a picture of the motor in my jeep, it might help some of you determine what I need.

And I thought I was the only one with a F head 6...lol...shots of the linkage would be great as mine is mostly mssing....

I was going to tell you about this person. I looked and of course I didn't have any. But, I did notice that the bolt pattern is the same as a 4F engine, so the carb might be a derivative of that. That's a start anyway. Could be that crossover arm like a CJ5 might be a start.
