Ralph, you'd get a lot of information if you used the search function and plug in the criteria your looking for. Research on the subject will get you a lot of info that likely Will not show up in this posted thread. Good luck in your build. Research my friend.

I put my 50 1/2 two wheel drive wagon on a '98 S-10 regular cab chassis. Had to shorten wheelbase 4" which was simple enough. My body floor was a total rust bucket so I channeled it 4" over the frame so I won't be much help regarding mating the two together. I can tell you that the ride and handling is very good and I drive it most everyday. I was also born in 1944 and am not too far from you in Valrico, FL (east of Tampa). Good luck on your project. Welcome to the forum there is a wealth of knowledge here for the asking.

One of the S10 blazers is 104" wheelbase. Can't recall which one (2 dr or 4dr), but you can find it on wikipedia.
