As I dig through my Jeepster, I have made some interesting finds. I first noticed that it has heat. Was this standard, an option, or an add on later. While looking at the heating unit, I found a large white cylinder, reminded me of a helium tank. As I explore closer, I found out that is an old type A/C. Was this something that could be added when ordering? I know the heat works great but I have not tried the A\C yet. If these were add-on option, I am curious to find out (if I can) how many there were with both. Does anyone know?

Over the years heaters were added, removed, replaced. Early models were optional dealer added. There was no AC in a Jeepster unless added by a PO. The origional engines were low HP and no AC. Resto mods sometimes had AC added. How is your large white cylinder plumbed in?
Some photos would help us better answer your questions.

Here is the heat. I will get another photo of the cylinder but it's in the corner. But it's plumbed to the heating / fan. The Jeepster has the original 6 in it.
