1948 2WD truck, Mustang II front end w/rack and pinion and PDB, hanging brake pedal, Chevrolet V8, TH350 transmission, Ford trac loc 9", larger fuel tank,

I've been working on this truck for a customer for the last few months. We are not going to do any paintwork on the exterior right now, but will probably get around to it in a few years.
I don't know how to post on here very well yet, but here is a link to the album that I have for the truck. (You do NOT have to be on Facebook)
Check out our '51 Hot Rod M38 Jeep build, and the M715, too, if you like other Jeeps.

Scramboleer,
I'm not sure what part of CA it came from. I think maybe the owner did mention it was from the northern part of the state. I will find out.
Why do you ask? Look familiar?
I am pretty sure the red CJ7 in the shop did come from the San Francisco area. Different owner, though.

Reminds me of this one from 2014:

Either way - nice work and nice truck.

Thanks,
The owner is pretty excited about the upgrades.
I believe that is the same truck.
Brownish seats, looks like a little grey primer on the bed roll ahead of the spare tire, one wiper, same wheels and tires, and the current owner bought the truck in PA in 2015.
You have a heck of a memory...
