Willys Model
Willys Year:
These rare white-metal replicas by U.S. Model Mint have been commanding high prices as of late. The version by MMC will apparently have the "Station Sedan" badges replicated in photo-etch metal as well as separate windshield wipers and the high-end grille trim.

If the new model is anything like MMC's previous '49 Jeepster then expect it to sell on eBay for nearly double.

The image posting issue has been corrected so now you guys can see these wonderful (and rare) models from England. Thanks to our Admin Rod for addressing the problem.

I haven't seen this one, looks great but pricey for me...there has been several others on ebay that went for big bucks as well, I found the the same Willys for $80.00 from Google - Willys Toys...the lister was trying to sell his as old antiques...I'd rather buy something for my project...

WOW! I want one of each! I've got a '50 jeepster, same color... I've never seen either of these. There's a pickup also, tan or brown - I passed it up @ $75 a few yrs back, now it's $100+

You could buy parts w/ that $100... on the other hand - my wagon needs a $10,000 infusion. I'm not so much a mechanic as a frustrated model builder all grown up and working at 1:1 scale reassembling these things. And the trouble is, with this economy and daughters college tuitions, etc., I've had to scale down the projects - there's no more budget for any full size parts.

Here's a snapshot of last winter's jeep project - my M170 ambulance - as the ad says - "restored military ambulance as mock-up, $10,000... two AMT 1:25 'Daisy Duke' CJ5 model kits, $25... jeep therapy for chronic willysitis, PRICELESS!
