axle swap 14 bolt

Ive acquired a mid 70's Chevy 3/4 ton frame with 14 bolt axels to swap into my 53 pickup also dropping in a 283 8V and changing the dana 18 over to a 300 and keeping the T-90. Ive never done a axle swap before any info and help on this would be awesome THANKS!
