Moab 2013 is now a Great Memory
Hey Terry... I don't know if everyone is Whored Out, But I know that I'm sure Worn Out and Beat to Hell from trying to have too much fun in Moab!
We got back home from Moab sometime this afternoon (Monday). The Friday night Pizza with everyone was a fun time. Saturday's Forum Trail Ride in Aches National Park is very cool. "Our Own" Trail Ride on Sunday with my Daughter, my Son in Law Alvin, his Mom & Dad, myself, and Casey from the Forum was a very busy and long day on the trail.
We did the whole Poison Spider Trail and "The Launching Pad" and over the Golden Crack. Problems with a Clogged Fuel System slowed down forward progress for one of our vehicles. Another vehicle had minor body damage in several places on his Wagon. I thought I may have blown my Motor as it was making a terrible new noise. It turned out that one of my Headers almost fell off! All the Header Bolts at the motor loosened up. We didn't get off the trail before dark and it took four hours trying to find our way down in the Pitch Black Darkness. No Fun not knowing if you are just driving off a large ledge or driving off a Cliff in Major Darkness. We got back to our Cabin at 10:30PM. I feel like I've been beat to a pulp!
