Sept 23 San Mateo, CA for 3 nights (teaching evening classes at SMCC)
Sept 26-28 San Diego, CA (USS MARS AFS-1 Reunion)
Sept 29-Oct 4 Las Vegas, NV (teaching at UNLV)
Oct 7-11 Denver, CO (teaching at Colorado Free University)
Oct 14-22 San Antonio, TX (teaching at NISD)
Then home!

Sounds like another great adventure-I'm assuming you solved your overheating issues?

you should put the details, like what cities your stoping/staying in, or any other points of interest you will be doing along the way, and when you plan on doing them. that way you could meet some of these guys.

Looks like you will be within a stones throw of the OldWillysForum Idaho world headquarters...

Eliminero, I think I've licked the overheating. I had a bigger radiator put in while in Jacksonville last road trip, installed a bigger electric fan and separate tranny cooler fan when I returned, along with a FlowCooler water pump which should work better at low rpms. Time will tell....

I'll try to meet as many folks along the way as I can...

Hi Bizshop. What are you teaching? I see that you will be Denver for five days on Oct 7-11. I live about 35 miles South West of Denver in Conifer. Maybe we can get together if you have any spare time. I'll PM you my Tel #. John (aka: Pivnic)

Please post your route along the way. Would love to see your Jeepney. Brings back fond memories of my time in the PI. I live by I-15 about half way between Los Angeles and San Diego.

I see you're skirting around Arizona entirely. There's a guy here in Wickenburg with a beautifully restored Jeepney. I cannot imagine driving that far in it.

Bill

Hmmm, if that be the case, I might have to plan that into the itinerary for the May trip ... Do you know how to find his restored jeepney?

I can call him and see if he's going to be in town. I took some pictures, I thought they were on my phone but maybe my other phone. What timeframe do you think you would be most likely be in the area?

Bill

Had a great stop to visit Willysfan on my way to Vegas. He has a couple great Willys projects going, looking good... Thanks for the burger and gas can (made it to Vegas OK)..

And thank you for stopping by and letting me see your Jeepney. Enjoyed our conversation, I'll keep in touch.

Bizshop stopped by my place tonight it was great to meet with another member. Was fun to see his rig up close and personal. It is all surprising to me to see what the imagination of our forum members are able to come up with. John (Pivnic) he is coming your way next, he said you were a great help when he was doing his build.

Hi Randy. I haven't heard from Bizshop yet. I hope that he still has my tel numbers. I hope that he watches these posts and calls me. I'll be looking for him tomorrow. Pivnic
