I always seem to notice that I'm on the young side when I attend a Willys event. As I get older, I'm happy to see new blood like Pete's son Joe join the ranks as a Willys owner.

I'm 42, grew up with my '54 wagon - learned to drive in it. Learned to shoot in it. Now it's going to teach me to weld, and to paint. (my VWs taught me to work on cars) Hope I make my dad proud with his old jeep.

I'm the oldest so far at 69. The gentleman who is helping me work on my wagon has two he built and wheels off road. He is 86 and going strong.

Glad to see we have some younger folks. Also glad im not the young one anymore. Its cool to see a meeting of minds of a wide range of ages. Us younger guys ( im kinda in the middle) can learn something, or in some cases teach something to/from the older guys.
