Photo taken north of Orick, California near today's Redwood National Park. Looks like a 1947 - early 1950 2wd wagon.

Just so we're not forgetting about our friends north of the border, here's a shot from Hemmings of a gas station in Toronto circa 1959:

From the Facebook group "Willys Jeep Trucks Wagons CJ2A and FCs Gone Wild," here's a pic of a 1949 Jeepster on a 4wd Wagon chassis:

interesting photos Dan, the first one, the vehicle on the bottom right hand corner, what model is that?

Garth, that is a "Station Sedan." Here are a few facts about it (from page 33 of the Willys America manual):

* 2wd only with the 6-63 148 ci "Lightning" six cylinder engine with 72 horsepower
* Offered from 1948 to 1950
* Cosmetic trim includes the "T" bar stainless steel grill piece, basketweave inserts on the sides below the side windows (the light-colored sections in the above pic), and deluxe interior panels
* Hubcaps and whitewall tires
* 'Jeep' Station Sedan badge on glovebox and sides of hood
