    I think it was in Israel. Might have been a portion knock-down kits. Bill Norris is one of the ace historians on here.

    These attachments always crack me up (though they are cool in and of themselves). Small companies could make stuff that would make no logical sense in mass production now and that post war money meant it could be done. Amazing.

    There were a lot more small farms and working ranches back then, and the rural economy was a much larger % of the overall economy, so it probably seemed like a good idea at the time. Also, those implements were competing with picks and shovels, not serious John Deere or Fordson tractors.

    Put another way, those were the Kuboda tractors of their day.

    I agree. I guess I should've added that it was a different time when more folks did things for themselves.

    I was eating at Steak and Shake Sunday night after working all day on my Willys PU project and I noticed the one vintage photo on the wall of the S&S had a Willys wagon in it. Ate there several times before and never noticed that!
