Need a Fuel Tank Sending Unit.

I'm looking for a fuel tank sending unit for my '53 Aero. If someone out there has a Willys parts manual it may show that it interchanges with something else (Jeepster, maybe?). Any help appreciated.

Brian, I think you have the right idea, to get the old unit rebuilt. I'll post my results when I get it back and installed. Might be a few weeks. Thanks!

There used to be a guy who advertised in Hemmings who rebuilt them.

kaiserwillys.com has a reasonably priced reproduction sender they say is good for an Aero. I bought one, then found a couple more old ones stashed away, sent one to tristarr, price came in higher than expected.

Mark: May I ask what Tristarr charged to do the rebuild?

They billed$171, higher than I expected after speaking to them & sending it in

I can't remember the part number or ohm range but if you email Mike atkaisewllys he can tell you which one works on an Aero. It will be anaftermarket produced unit
