So I've got these wires..

I have a 49 Jeepster. It was a bit of a mess when I got it... Just put an Fhead into it while the Lhead goes and gets the business. Started up the engine and no gauges work. Well, the ammeter jumps when i turn the key on, but that's it. I'm not surprised as I've got these wires I don't know what to do with.

In every wiring diagram I have found, I show one wire from the key to the coil. Ive got that figured out, it runs. However, I have two wires that are cut to length to fit onto the coil, but I'm not sure how to hook them up. Both on positive, one on positive, one on negative?

All drivingights work if that helps any.

Anyone have any ideas?

Do you know if you have an overdrive? If so, one of those wires would go to the overdrive circuit.

There was a similar problem with overdrive. Here such. Thank you for helping solve this problem. It turned out as you said. This was the problem. At once everything fell into place!
