Willys Model
  1. CJ
Willys Year:
  1. 1946
A year ago last July we purchased another 46 CJ2A, yes we have two now. It has Ramsey Brothers winch on it.
It is not driven by a PTO or motor. The crankshaft pulley is not stock for this Willys. It is deeper and has a surface machined at a 45 degree angle. The winch has a cone clutch that engages in the pulley to drive the winch directly off the engine. I can find one number on it - 203 or 208. not sure if this is a model number.
Does anyone know anything about these winches?

Sounds like a crankshaft driven winch. There was a crank clutch assembly on ebay last week for one.
