Here is a inside view of our doors it might help someone, i needed the skin for my cab extension this door was caved in about 2 " along one side it was the worst of my stash so it sacrificed its skin. If you are going to be trashing the latch I could use a spring out of it.

I might be using bear claws and cherokee door handles i have assembled all the parts for the swap, ((Especially since Marcus (go-jeep) made it look easy)) my doors for my truck i am building are empty shells so if i go stock il need the latches. So il let you know if i dont use its yours. And you are talking about the latch that hooks the door post correct. And il be posting some better close up pics of the door.
