Hey guys, quick introduction. I own/operate a small repair shop in Boulder, CO called Last Chair Customs. Machinist by trade, mechanic, welder, fabricator as well.

Just sold off a few of my Jeeps to start a Willys Wagon build. It's something I've always wanted to build, and it's a bit of a tribute to a friend who was killed before finishing his Willys pickup.

So far I've got a 53 body for parts and a 59 to build, all the 2x4 steel to build a custom frame, a 5.3L LS and 4L60E, Wagoneer D44's with 5:38's and ARB lockers, and a pile of other parts. I should have the 59' body back from sandblasting this week.

Some teaser pics as this build gets rolling

Welcome from another Coloradoan, Zack. Where in Colorado are you at? Your Willys looks to be a decent condition. Post more pics! Pivnic

Should have put the willys body on the Comanche frame and be done with it.

There's no such thing as a Comanche frame, it's unibody like the XJ. I do have a Wagoneer frame, but I'm going build a custom frame from scratch. That's how Asti built his pickup. Plus I got all the steel for about $40 and the neighbors have a frame table I can borrow.
