I remember I read about this back in the 70’s when I had a W30 442. Would have loved to have gotten my hands on one of these back then.

Being in high school in the early 70’s I loved that GM had Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Buicks and Chevys, all with their unique engines and trims, even if they were all pretty much the same bodies, frames and transmissions. Those were the days my friends, we thought they’d never end…….sounds familiar some how.

I remember wishing I could stop time in 1973. I knew I had it made, some money from working in the garage, lots of good times, cool cars and lots of friends. It was great

In 1973 I was fresh out of the Army and back from overseas. Not very well liked by many people and had less money.

Yeah I hated having to wear my uniform in order to fly military standby... when flying to the base in S. Carolina I removed all sub-related insignia from my uniform cause flights were being hijacked to Cuba.
